Verde offers multiple locations (Gainesville, Tampa, Orlando, and Ormond Beach) to better serve most of Florida. We price each job individually, but you can get an idea about pricing from the information below. Bundling services usually saves you considerable money due to reduced travel costs and mapping hours. Feel free to leave us the property address or County Parcel ID # and a brief description detailing your needs in the contact request form. We'll be sure to get you a formal proposal as soon as we can.
We create custom quotes for every property our clients bring us. Prices for a Wetland Delineation (WD) vary based on several factors. The amount of wetland line and the travel distance are the primary variables. For a property under 5 acres, the cost for us to perform a WD is typically between $800 and $1400. Some counties (Osceola particularly) require a Mitigation Assessment (UMAM Analysis) to be performed in addition to a Wetland Delineation. This service typically adds to the cost of the wetland delineation due to additional mapping and writing. If adding a MA to a WD, this typically adds between $150 and $300 to a project. A Conceptual Development Plan takes the land evaluation a step further and includes a preliminary site plan map that calculates the approximate wetland impacts and displays impact areas along with setbacks. The cost of this service is based on the complexity of the project and the projected number of hours involved. However, most of the time, adding a CDP adds $750 to the price of a WD. Gopher Tortoise Surveys/Listed Species Habitat Assessments are priced dependent upon the amount of likely tortoise habitat needing to be surveyed, the perceived thickness of the vegetation, and travel distance. We'll typically mention having a LSHA/GT Survey completed if a property is mapped as having "well-drained" or "excessively well-drained" soils. These types of soil increase the likelihood of finding Listed Species living on the property. Verde also offers assistance with Permitting. One of the more common permits we work with is the Environmental Resource Permit (ERP). The majority of our permitting fees are derived from the hours it take to write the mitigation plan, complete the associated UMAM worksheets, make multiple site visits, and correspondence with the State, surveyors, and clients. Typically, our consulting fees associated with obtaining the impact permits run between $5,000 and $6,000. Other permits that we routinely assist with are Conservation Area Determinations (CAD), Conservation Area Impact (CAI), Formal Determinations (FD), 404 Program, and various other environmental impact permits.
